Why do manufacturing books get messy?
Materials move. Labor hits different jobs. Inventory sits on the floor while the P&L says something else. If nobody ties purchases, WIP and finished goods to sales every month, your monthly margin numbers may be hard to trust. We tie it out every month in QuickBooks Online.
How does an in-house hire compare to the Rektio team?

Can you help us see which product lines make money?
Yes. Once the books close clean each month, we can break out margin by product line, job or class. Fractional CFO help is an add-on when you want pricing and cash planning on top of that.
What does it cost?
Monthly service starts at $1,500 a month. Your price depends on how many transactions you have, how many entities you run and how much controller help you need. We tell you the price before we start. Tax help and fractional CFO work are add-ons. We’re not the cheapest option, and we don’t try to be.
Who are we not a fit for?
We’d rather tell you now. We’re not a fit if:
- You need an audit or other assurance work. We don’t do that.
- You only want your taxes done. Tax help is an add-on to our monthly bookkeeping, not a stand-alone service.
- You’re shopping for the lowest price. We’re not the cheapest.
- You want a one-time project. We only take on ongoing monthly work. Catch-up for new monthly clients is built into onboarding or a special project. It is not a stand-alone cleanup.
Straight answers
Are you a CPA firm?
No. Rektio Accounting is a bookkeeping and controller team. We don’t do audits or other assurance work.
Do you do taxes?
Tax help is an add-on to our monthly bookkeeping. We don’t take on tax returns by themselves.
What software do you use?
We work in QuickBooks Online first. We set it up for manufacturing tracking and keep it running.
What if my books are behind?
If your books are behind when you start with us, we almost always build catch-up into the onboarding fee or handle it as a special project for new monthly clients. We don’t take catch-up work on its own.
Is there a long-term contract?
We’re month-to-month with 30 days’ notice.
